This is REALLY out of my normal art comfort zone. I'm used to doing tons of minute detail and a complex background, lots of colors, etc. But I did want to try something different.

This was really inspired by the type of year I've been having. I mean, it's pretty much over now, but I had a giant workload with school, I was running my yearbook club and trying to meet deadlines, dating, high school drama, being forced to call the police on my parents busy year in general, and at times, I felt like I really struggled, but I told myself not to break, that I would survive, and that a strong will could conquer almost anything.

Done on watercolor paper with a fine point sharpie and watercolor
